Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision (Construction) – Building and Civil Engineering

The unit choices for this NVQ derive from the National Occupational Standards.

NVQ Structure:

Candidates must achieve the below fourteen units:

1) Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace

2) Implementing, Maintaining and Reviewing Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare, Wellbeing and Environmental Protection in the Workplace

3) Assessing and Agreeing Work Methods in the Workplace

4) Planning Work Activities and Resources to Meet Project Requirements in the Workplace

5) Coordinating Work Control in the Workplace

6) Controlling Work Progress Against Agreed Programmes in the Workplace

7) Allocating and Monitoring the Use of Plant, Equipment or Machinery in the Workplace

8) Implementing Communication Systems for the Project in the Workplace

9) Controlling Work Against Agreed Quality Standards in the Workplace

10) Contributing to the Control of Work Quantities and Costs in the Workplace

11) Maintaining Supplies of Materials to Meet Project Requirements in the Workplace

12) Maintaining the Dimensional Accuracy of the Work in the Workplace

13) Co-ordinating Preparation for Site Operations in the Workplace

14) Supervising the Installation, Maintenance, Monitoring and Removal of Temporary Works in the Workplace
